The Circle of Change Leadership Experience is a 501 c (3) organization that host a three-day national leadership conference in Los Angeles, California in the Fall and New York City in the Spring.
This three-day leadership experience brings more than 325 diverse students to Los Angeles, California in the Fall and 200 plus diverse students to New York in the Spring for a transformational leadership experience that enables these diverse students to discover the leader from within, develop the leadership and professional skills necessary to attain career leadership success after graduation, and the inspiration/confidence needed to make a positive impact in their community, nation, and world!
In order to attain this goal each year with the conference in Los Angeles and New York, not only have we created an incredible team of keynote speakers, leadership coaches, and set of panelists from top tier companies and organizations all across the world, but we have created a variety of life changing leadership experiences built upon five specific learning outcomes which are Interpersonal Development, Leadership Development, Professional Development, Socially Responsible Leadership, and Inclusive Leadership.
The specific goals of each learning outcomes are provided below:
- Interpersonal Development – Students will not only discover the leader from within, but they will increase their self awareness, become more aware of the leadership assets they possess within, and discover how to use the assets that everyone possesses to become more effective as a leader in the 21st Century.
- Leadership Development – Students will not only develop a solid working definition of leadership, but they will learn about a variety of leadership skill sets that are required to lead effectively in the 21st Century.
- Resilient Leadership – Students will not only develop a solid working definition of resilient leadership, but they will learn how to develop the resiliency and grit to overcome any challenge or obstacle as a leader in the 21st Century.
- Professional Development – Students will not only learn about the professional skills that are needed to attain career leadership success after graduation, but more importantly, they will learn about the specific things they should start doing now to position themselves for career success after graduation.
- Socially Responsible Leadership – Students not only learn about the important of ethical leadership, but more importantly, they will understand the importance of integrity, character, social responsibility, civic engagement, social justice, and servant leadership.
- Emotional Intelligent Leadership – Students not only develop a solid working definition of emotional intelligence, but they learn how to increase their emotional intelligence as a leader in the 21st Century.
- Inclusive Leadership – Students not only learn about the importance of diversity and inclusion, but more importantly, they will increase their cultural intelligence and learn about the qualities of an inclusive leader.
